Manufacture de Monaco : luxury porcelain shop

manufacture de monacoThere are meetings that shape destinies; in 1973 when SAS Prince Rainier III offered Erich Rozewicz the chance to build a porcelain factory at Le Rocher in Monaco, he had no idea that 40 years of close collaboration was in the making.

Now meet Liliane Różewicz, daughter of the founder.

When you enter the Manufacture de Monaco shop (that celebrates its 25th anniversary) you are left speechless, overwhelmed by the beauty of porcelain around you.  Unique pieces worked by the hands of goldsmiths and offered to us like fruits from the Garden of Eden.  From plates adorned with gold, to hand polished crystal glasses, through to ashtrays decorated with Swarovski crystals, you will not know where to look.

The prince’s influence can be found here from the very first piece, designed in the 70’s after the mosaics that decorate the palace, to the gifts, skilfulness or offerings to the Monegasque citizens especially at the wedding of HSH Prince Albert and SAS Princess Charlene.

The Manufacture de Monaco is proud to be one of the patented Palace suppliers.  But not only this, the companymanufacture porcelaine

exports a large number of its products to Japan, the Middle East, the United States and even Russia.

Do not make the mistake of thinking that all of these products are overtly expensive; there is a wide range of choice, ranging from keepsakes to exceptional and personalised services.  This willingness for accessibility was the decision of Erich Rozewicz and the SAS Prince Rainier III who always maintained a close relationship.

For the future, The Factory has major projects planned, as it expects to develop its offering to a wide selection of items for the home, table linen, silverware and signed Monaco crystal, all with an expertise that celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, and becomes the ambassador of beauty, luxury and splendour which make Monaco shine.
