Amber Lounge party: may 24th
F1 Grand Prix enthusiasts have had the chance, once again, to gather together at the most exclusive and glamorous party held in Monaco: Amber Lounge.
From 7.30 to 8.30pm a very chic defile took place on the border of Le Meridien Beach Plaza swimming pool, followed by an action aiming to raise money for Nelson Mandela’s foundation.
The first auction was the chance to be the first person driving the brand new Rolls Royce Wraith and to be Rolls Royce VIP guest at Goodwood festival of speed. After several bids in the audience, a gentleman got the offer for 15 000 euros. Other exclusive offers were available for the auction such as a Picasso signed lithography and a F1 racers autographed picture, sold for 16 000 euros.
Once the auction was ended, people in the audience have been proposed to give money to the foundation. Four big-hearted people gave 10 000 euros each.
After this heart-warming charity moment, guests enjoyed a fantastic gourmet diner before joining the expected Amber Lounge after party. VIPs, celebrities, and models danced all night long enjoying great music and Eva Simons live show. Amber Lounge F1 drivers’ post-race parties are now legendary…
