Café Llorca
There is a place in Monaco, cradled by the Mediterranean sun, where blue sky is mixed with pure and botanical decoration created by Jean Michel Wilmotte. A place which charms the eyes as well as the taste buds; embark on an unforgettable cruise aboard the Café Llorca.
Having addressed the kitchens of the Hotel Negresco and then through conquering his star-rated restaurant at Colle-sur-Loup, Alain Llorca reinvents bistronomy in his favourite “Contemporary Mediterranean” style and invites you to spend every lunch overlooking the bay of Monaco. Within the Grimaldi Forum this venue was completely redesigned. A beautiful 220m2 « upper deck” welcomes you 24/7 during the summer, and there is over 1000m2 of flexible and contemporary space which is close to shelter your lunch time in case of a storm.
The cuisine is the star of the show; products from the market, enhanced by a mixture of flavours and colours. Everyday Alain Llorca’s right hand man, Ludovic Ciais, makes up a palette of food in order to rediscover the lost flavours of vegetables, of fish and lamb stews raised just to the right level. This accuracy reigns supreme in the open kitchen of Café LLorca, a varied menu that changes regularly and affordable set menus (€ 22 for a main course, dessert and a glass of wine). Suffice to say here that Alain Llorca won his bet to create a chic and elegant bistro.
Every night this venue turns into one of the largest private rooms in the Principality. Cocktails, conferences, weddings, birthdays, from 30 to 1,200 people; a dream night in one of the most beautiful settings in the world…the Mediterranean Sea.
